Introducing Seen at Santa Fe, a series through @iifc.media @iifc.hq highlighting Afro-Indigenous representation throughout @santafeindianmarket and @sovereignsantafe Cover pictures: @adriftadream.photo ✨

Over the next few days, I’ll be sending out interviews and stories with some amazing people I met throughout the Market, highlighting the many ways Afro-Indigenous people are showing up in fashion, art, film, and community.

I had so much fun interviewing @sweethoneyrael Chauné Mountainsong. She actually found me the way we always seem to find each other, with a smile and an up nod from across the room. Very serendipitous, like we were meant to cross paths.🫶🏾✨❤️

First up, Chauné on finding your people, representation in fashion and film, and making space for all of who we are. Read Full Story in bio ✍️👩🏽‍💻@Mariquewrites

Love this! And love normalizing representation. We are not a monolith & showcasing all our awesomeness allows so many youth & elders to feel seen too! Can’t wait! 🫶🏽
