L’Écurie is a self-managed concert venue and bar located in Îlot 13, Geneva. The venue has existed for 36 years, with roots stretching back to the time when the neighbourhood was still home to squats. Its programme gives prominence to local and emerging artists and, more broadly, to music that rarely finds a place on the mainstream circuit. Collectively and independently run, L’Écurie has been part of Geneva’s alternative scene since its inception. Even today, it continues to host concerts, artists and audiences outside the commercial circuit.
