David, our dear friend Luke who was one of your biggest fans and former president of the David Benoit Fan Club has sadly passed away due to kidney failure. Congratulations @official_davidbenoit and, after three years, so happy you are happy and healthy! You look and sound great. I too am a big fan and the concert sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, I cannot make it, but have you considered streaming it and even having people donate to the organization of your choosing?

We loved seeing you in Richmond, Va recently at our new baseball stadium. Hope you come back soon. We first saw you at Carnegie Hall a long time ago. You were the opening act for Patty Austin. Have seen you many times since then. We are so glad your transplant was a big success.

David, I am so truly happy for you. I’m a pianist (not jazz anymore) and I’ve been listening to you since I studied jazz piano in high school and my band director picked Café Rio for me to solo on & we’d discuss your Full Circle album. My dad suffered from kidney disease for the majority of my life. His second transplant worked, and we got 10 more years with him before he passed away from a cancer related to it. So both your music and kidney disease have been significant parts of my life, and I had to let you know I am just so happy for you.
