Following the news of Yayoi Kusama’s passing, I reflect on the artist’s impact and inspiration to my art students across the years of my teaching. From her joyful love of polka dots, to her obliteration rooms, infinity rooms, and her bright pumpkins, she has been a source of inspiration in my classroom for years. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Rest in power to the Princess of Polka Dots🧡🟣🟢🟡🔵🔴🟠🟢🔵🔴
