@pooleyvilleuk + @rnd.ltd will co-host this special live performance at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willen, a Grade I listed church built in 1680 and designed by Robert Hooke — scientist, inventor and architect, and key figure of the Restoration era.

@posuposuotani is a throat singer, songwriter employing an instrumental palate of open-tuned guitar and the Kohkin (Jew’s Harp). His songwriting fuses rich harmonics and fluid rhythms, focusing on overtones and timbre to create an impressionistic sound world. Born in 1972 and raised in Kamakura, Japan, Posuposu Otani’s musical journey began at age 20 with a passion for punk music, leading him to experiment with home recordings on a 4-track tape deck. His diverse experiences, including time spent in San Francisco’s skateboarding scene and travels through India and the Republic of Sakha to study the Kohkin, have profoundly influenced his sound.

@kenichiiwasa is a London-based improviser and multidisciplinary artist from Japan. Over more than two decades, he has remained a somewhat enigmatic presence in the music scene, quietly building a strong reputation almost entirely through live performance. His work thrives on immediacy, with each performance unfolding as a dynamic and unpredictable sonic environment where organic and electronic textures continuously shift and interact.
