Super open kitchen this week - literally our busiest ever! Thank you so much to everyone who came, especially to those who queued and those who waited for a table on the chairs outside.

It was great to meet some instagram friends who’d travelled from Darlington to celebrate their birthday. Lots of new faces and as always we are grateful for our faithful regulars.

Pistachio and pear cake - a fabulous @nigellalawson recipe, it worked a treat and got rave reviews, I’d definitely make it again.
