Happy 7th birthday, Reece. To be totally honest, I didn’t know that loving someone this much was possible before you came around.
Part of me wishes I could keep you small, but I’ve loved every step we’ve taken together so far. Im excited to see all the ways you change and become your full self. You’re so damn smart, and that brain of yours is turning into something we’re excited to explore. I’m already looking forward to the late-night deep talks when you take Philosophy 101 in college.
None of this happens without your mom. Tara keeps all of us on track, and this house would crumble without her. You got the best one.
The way you see me makes me keep working to be that guy. To be the example you need.
