🇦🇲 #ARMENIA: A mass brawl broke out inside Armenia’s parliament on October 29th. Government and opposition politicians threw punches, chairs, kicks, and what looks like an attempted headbutt.

The violence began after ruling party MP Taron Chakhoyan made insulting remarks about opposition leader Narek Karapetyan’s family.

The confrontation quickly escalated into a full-scale fight, broadcast live from the National Assembly. Security intervened as fighting continued into the corridors. One opposition MP was left with a bloody nose, while another had his clothes torn.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan defended his party’s MPs, blaming the opposition for the violence.

This was the third parliamentary brawl in Armenia in less than a month.
