a month agoFunnily enough most of us average home trainers.. Start off as force free trainers... until we realize things like "dog doesnt know i exist.. no matter how yummy treat is.. when another dog walks past". I like balanced training/trainers . Ive watched em all from force free to balanced to the more corrective training..
2 months agoForce free and compulsion are dying 100% too bad the government has major pull- so it is important for everyone to continue to document and share their work, to consult better more modern studies, and be willing to collaborate and fight back if need be- even though no one can be as radical as the FF, don't need to be radical when the proof is in the pudding 10s of thousands of times and counting. What kind of car are you driving? 👀
2 months agoI have oppossite opinion and proven by clients. I solve cases which 5 previous FF trainers failed. Those people seek simple methods and results and they are so surprised if we don't give single cookie during training but dog respond so fast and great. Most funny is extremely reactive dogs after 3 right timing corrections sitting peacefully near to my intact boys during 10 minutes of session. And they did work 4 or more months with FF trainer without result and dog is taken on pills for ADHD and another BS.
2 months agoI saw the condescending video I believe you are referring to… My answer is NOPE!
