DK, an American-born Palestinian, spoke out at Pershing Square last weekend after 3 years of genocide. She urges Americans to consider what their US tax dollars have been funding since 1948.. calling on everyone from environmentalists, animal rights activists, and feminists to stand in solidarity. DK pushes back against MAGA’s racist narratives that paint all Arabs as terrorists and calls for unity.. saying it’s us against the government, not each other

Conversation is my life’s work. It’s the thing I’ve dedicated my career, my research, and so much of my heart to because I truly believe that the way we connect with one another can change our lives.

Being a New York Times bestselling author has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.

To see Conversation on that list is something I don’t even have the words to describe. It’s one of those moments you dream about for so long that when it finally happens, it almost doesn’t feel real.

But what makes this moment even more special is that I didn’t get here alone.

Every person who bought a copy, shared a post, recommended the book to a friend, showed up to an event, or cheered me on along the way played a part in making this possible. You helped take something I care so deeply about and bring it into the lives of people who need it.

In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, distracted, and lonely, I hope this book reminds people that the conversations we have with one another still matter.

That being seen, understood, and genuinely connected to another human being is one of the most important things we can experience.

Thank you for believing in this work.

Thank you for believing in me. And thank you for helping me bring this dream to life.

I will never take this moment, or the community that made it possible, for granted.

WE did it. ❤️

With so much love and gratitude,

Vanessa
