They say, Being a man is not easy these days.
I used agree with the same sentiment.
That society has been directing a lot of hate towards men and we are experiencing mental struggles because of society hating us.
I used to believe it.
Until I realized no one is out to get me.
I was just too much into my own ego I forgot to look at my shortcomings why things are the way they were in my life.
Only me is out to get me.
After stopping the self flagellation, the energy sucking ways of how I viewed myself,
I started thriving and I have never stopped ever since.
Do I have bad days?
Yes, plenty, but the great days outweighs the bad.
And no matter what shit or emotional turmoil I am in,
I make it the best day ever so far.
Not out of toxic positivity,
But coming from a place of grace, joy, gratitude and love.
This year has been nothing but a blessing.
I grew my studio,
I coached new coaches and paying them what they deserve,
I overcame a health scare (ill talk about this more)
Met new friends.
Rekindled my professional coaching career.
And ultimately,
I grew from inside out.
While feeling every moment of this growth.
And it all began when I started to accept,
No one is out to get me. There’s no one out to get men.
We are our own enemy.
In strength,
