Yesterday I was reminded why I will NEVER stop talking about women’s health. ❤️

I was supposed to be discussing endometriosis, women’s healthcare and the reality of living and working with chronic health conditions on national television. But the interview was dropped and another story took priority.

I understand that happens in news. But the irony wasn’t lost on me.

Because isn’t that exactly what happens to women’s health, time and time again?

We’re told to wait. To put up with the pain. That it’s normal. That it’s just part of being a woman.

Yet in 2026, the average diagnosis time for endometriosis in the UK is STILL 9 years and 4 months.

Nine years of potentially suffering, questioning your body and fighting to be heard.

This isn’t about one cancelled interview. It’s about a much bigger problem.

Women’s health should never be an afterthought. Our pain deserves investigation. Our conditions deserve research. Our bodies deserve understanding. And our voices deserve to be heard.

I’ve experienced the frustration of fighting for answers myself, and if I can use this platform to make even one woman question symptoms she’s been told to ignore, I will.

Because we deserve better than being told to just get on with it.

Women’s health is not a secondary issue. It’s a priority. And it’s time we started treating it like one. 🤍
