you don’t need to spend 2 hours in the gym doing 6+ exercises with 4+ sets each to build muscle. more exercises and volume don’t automatically mean more growth !! I’m currently doing 2 glute-focused workouts + 1 quad-focused workout per week, so 3 exercises with 2–3 sets each is enough for me per workout. if you’re actually training hard and pushing yourself close to failure, you don’t necessarily need much more than that. prioritize high-quality sets, fuel your muscles, get enough rest (because recovery is where the growth happens) and trust the process 💙 gymfit >>> @dfyne.official code ELLIE %
It took this to get here Revisiting core memories of the past to better understand the present and amplify the future. I’m beyond words and incredibly humbled and grateful to everyone who joined the Team and me at ‘Homecourt’ last Friday. What started as a pencil sketch became reality, and it’s an experience I’ll carry with me forever. None of this would have been possible without every incredible individual who shared their time and talents to bring this vision to life as one team — The Avengers. To my brothers @austinneely and @mitchjames , thank you for the endless hours, sacrifices, and unwavering belief in me and in us @movingparts.us. Every idea, late-night conversation, and detail made this experience feel like a perfectly orchestrated symphony. To @zanah_marie and the @s27group Team, thank you for bringing every detail to life. One of my favorite moments was recreating my late grandmother’s Sari-Sari (bodega) store. I truly felt her smiling down on us that evening. To @oogie4life and the entire @svrnshop Team, thank you for trusting us and celebrating this release with our community. We’ve come a long way since the DTS days. To the Jordan Brand Chicago Team, @mickeymonday , @badchurchboy , @corbin_t , @karinthedesigner , @ladykream , and the entire Jordan Brand Team, thank you for believing in this dream and helping bring that “Chicago kids to the world!” spirit full circle. To @jasonmayden , @jacob_brosky , @joemurrayaboutit , and the entire Jordan Brand Team, thank you for taking a chance on us nearly three years ago and helping us amplify our community through art, design, and stories inspired by the greatest player ever. To our families, friends, the city, and everyone who supported us along this journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing, showing up, and sharing this space with love and respect. Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat sa suporta 🙏🏽🇵🇭✨ 📸 @_filmm42
With all the love. 💖 The crazy thing is the last scripture My mother gave me the night before she passed was Matthew 5:16 Do you know what it talks about?! Kinda wild. That’s what she would leave me on this earth with. 🥹 Please remember not everybody is going to like you not everybody is going to agree with you not everybody is going to like comment share and indulge in what you’re sharing and celebrate you. That’s ok. 🩷 Just remember that it is most important that you like you that you are YOU who God created YOU to be💖 NEVER DIM YOUR LIGHT TO MAKE OTHERS COMFORTABLE, show them that they can shine too✨ Shine bright and glorify him who is in heaven. ✨NEVER FORGET. -Comment “LOVE” for my outfit details and I’ll send to your DMs with a special from me 😘💚💜 H. @kateberlant tells jokes with a theatricality so intense that the bit becomes less about the punchline and more about watching her careen towards it. She’s honed that style through everything she does, like her must-see one-woman show Kate, the podcast she co-hosts with @jacnov, Poog, and all the movie and TV roles she’s made a habit of stealing outright. Her new @hbo special, Parmesan, puts that style on its biggest stage yet. For our upcoming Fall issue, she got on the phone with her friend and fellow comedian Cole Escola, who knows just as well how much fun there is in refusing to let a bit die. Link in bio.
