And yes, I still haven’t figured out how to make him look at me the way he looks at Goku (send help).

Our days now start with Goku duties. They end with a full debrief of everything that happened since we split up for work that morning. Simple. Elegant. Us.

A bit about Rahul.
He’s loud with his love, and not just with me, with literally everyone he meets. Wants to tell the whole world everything, and wants to share every single bite of food with everyone, always (I do not always agree with this policy 😩). But strip away the noise and what’s left is just the most honest, kind human I know.

We are definitely not a ‘lovey-dovey’ couple as they say! What we do on a daily basis is tease each other relentlessly, and have a lot of fun with everything that we do - eating, going out, swimming, games - always, and to anyone watching it probably looks like a bit. It’s not. It’s just us. Best friends and secret keepers since the day we started this, and I think that’s exactly what makes the love underneath it so fierce.

We’ve both lost people who shaped who we are - him, his Achan, me, my Valliachan - and somewhere in showing up for each other through that, everything after just changed the course of our relationship and our lives to be honest!

So proud of you this year, Rahul. Here’s to more of us. Always. ♥️
