If we get serious about sin the way we get serious about getting physically healthy and mentally sound, we will be forced to see that the unhealed parts of our soul that crave attention, affirmation, lust; and wrestle with comparison, the pride of life, gossip, or haughtiness in our hearts, eventually leads to a whirlwind effect within our lives.

James 1 says that we are lured and enticed by our own desires, and eventually when we’ve been hooked to the sin that we consistently justify, it brings consequences that are unavoidable.

But it’s out of his kindness that we repent ❤️ and repentance is compelled by love; through love; because of love.

Ya don’t gotta try to outrun sin— you can just run to Him. Literally. Ask Him to meet you tangibly and to heal your heart 🫶🏼
