It is Gods kindness that leads us to repentance. Repentance sounds like a big fat Christianese word but it’s similar to owning your faults in your marriage or within your friendships and apologizing for his they hurt the other party. Repentance is beautiful when rooted in conviction / not condemnation.

Heaven, freedom, and His love ARE NOT earned. It’s RECEIVED. If it was earned based off what you do or dont do…..I woulda been donezo a longggggg time ago and you would have been too 😝

By grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8 🫶🏼

I didn’t submit to God til a later date: 3/03/19….(side note: our house number is 303 and I just always feel like it’s a wink from God to keep me in remembrance of what He’s done in my life)

But once upon a time I left with these 2 hippies in pursuit of TRUTH and answers. I didn’t find it with them but the freedom they lived in enticed me.

I remember one night we slept outside a church and on that cold side walk was where I proclaimed to hate God but that place was the very church God led me to years later where my growth in him accelerated. 🩵

I hated God most of my life….I blamed Him for the loss of my dad and all along I was looking for my daddy’s love but I could only find it in the arms of My Abba.

Part 2 dropping tomorrow on my submission day where quite literally everythingggggg changed. Radically.

Shoulda known that lil chuckle would wake up my sweet boy 😩

But it’s laughable that we let social media influence in so many ways where if we aren’t careful it just becomes a bunch of NOISE. How can we be led by the voice of God if we are letting constant noise fill us with the direction to go.

I am all for practical ideas, wisdom, and advice but ultimately what works for someone else may not work for you (and it wasn’t suppose to) because God didn’t make carbon copies of how homes should function. He does give sound wisdom and conviction though 🤗

Long story long, God has equipped you to raise your babies. You are doing better than what ya realize mama 🫶🏼

What a sweet lil reminder that it’s not about “waiting” for a cute coffee shop moment to meet God. It’s consistently about meeting him in the middle of your day, mess, to do list... whatever it is…inviting him INTO IT ❤️ apart from him we can do nothing ☀️

If we get serious about sin the way we get serious about getting physically healthy and mentally sound, we will be forced to see that the unhealed parts of our soul that crave attention, affirmation, lust; and wrestle with comparison, the pride of life, gossip, or haughtiness in our hearts, eventually leads to a whirlwind effect within our lives.

James 1 says that we are lured and enticed by our own desires, and eventually when we’ve been hooked to the sin that we consistently justify, it brings consequences that are unavoidable.

But it’s out of his kindness that we repent ❤️ and repentance is compelled by love; through love; because of love.

Ya don’t gotta try to outrun sin— you can just run to Him. Literally. Ask Him to meet you tangibly and to heal your heart 🫶🏼

a month of hiding seems wild in retrospect but thoughts that are unrenewed according to what God says… will accumulate fast and weigh you down QUICKLY.

I knew I hadn’t felt like myself for a minute but I couldn’t “locate” what it was within me until I watched Lecraes podcast and it was such an “ah ha” moment especially after my friends had already checked in and called me out and not to mention the conversations I have been having with my husband at night in the kitchen— it all revealed the roots of something’s God wanted to UPROOT.

alsooooo thankful my husband pushes me ❤️ Hes the last one to post on socials but he won’t hesitate to create a TikTok for me & run it 🏃🏼‍♀️

love broke through ya know? after being booed constantly for the slump he was in— one fan changed it up and got everyone in on his plan to give Trea Turner a standing ovation instead. It broke him out of the slump. HE NEEDED THE LOVE… not the shame. ❤️

side note: i have never truly been into baseball the way I have been with other sports but wow watching our Rays play is easily one of my favorite things to do with my husband. It’s one of the most underrated sports IMO. And this documented moment called “The Turnaround” is such a good perspective of the power of love and also the power of Philly fans lol.

sometimes familiarity can sound like: “I’ve always been this way” and that will almost always lead you into normalizing what God says should be uprooted.

and the second half of familiarity can really make us unable to receive from those around us because we hold up a familiar version of a person instead of the current version.
