Strawberry Pie🍓🍓🍓

1 quart fresh strawberries
1 pie crust baked
1 cup white sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup water
1 cup whipping cream

Hule the strawberries cut in half and put in the baked pie.

Place the remaining strawberries in a sauce pan and add the sugar bringing to a boil and stirring continuously.
Whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
Gradually stir in cornstarch mixture to boiling strawberries. Reduce heat and simmer mixture until thicken about 8 minutes stirring continuously.
Pour mixture over fresh strawberries in the pie shell.
Refrigerate least 3 hours
Serve with whipped cream
