I know you’ve all been waiting for this week’s episode of the Align Coffee Chronicles week 15… so here it is. 😂☕️
Seems like we can’t go ONE week without adding another chapter.
This week’s fun included our espresso grinder deciding it was done with coffee shop life. 🙃 So we had to bite the bullet and buy a brand-new commercial grinder… which, in case you’re wondering, costs approximately a few car payments. 😂💸
BUT… I have to admit, it’s pretty awesome. 😍☕️
Of course, one fridge got jealous of all the attention the grinder was getting and decided SHE needed a little spa day too. 🤦♀️😂 So add cleaning, troubleshooting and fixing a fridge to this week’s list too!
Then this morning my manager called to tell me she was alone because of call-outs, so guess who rushed to the shop?
🙋♀️ ME.
And just go ahead and add BARISTA to my resume now. 😂
I calibrated our fancy new grinder, dialed in those perfect shots, pulled espresso, steamed milk, made drinks, worked the register AND squeezed in a conference call somewhere in between.
Then I took off my imaginary barista apron and headed to job #2 for the day. 🤪
At this point, owning a coffee shop means you’re the owner, HR department, maintenance department, tech support, cashier, emergency fill-in and apparently… BARISTA.
And I’m not gonna lie… I kinda enjoyed it. 😂☕️

Our pumpkin brûlée is served IN A REAL PUMPKIN 🎃☕️ and we only have a limited number!
