scissor sisters dykespace edition was a HISTORIC LESBIAN MOMENT for me and i truly cannot put more respect on everyones name for TURNINGGGG THAT SHIT OUT! The drag world may not respect dyke drag enough but i am proud to say i get to create a stage for these performers and for ALL OF YOU to be your beautiful selves!!!! i am honored to see so many amazing trans and sapphic people celebrating at my parties and my shows. i love drag and i love DYKE DRAG and i am so grateful to be able to have the space to create these things for lesbians and queer and trans people. truly it is my dream, and i know i am not perfect, but YALL ARE!!!!

scissor sisters is at its heart a love letter to sapphics and the dyke community here, i want more than anything for it to always be about giving us opportunities to dance, wear whatever the fuck we want (and feel safe doing it), share joy, support local art, and PAY, LOVE, AND CELEBRATE DYKES (with an underscore for trans dykes, dykes of color & disabled dykes) ABOVE ALL!
