About last night… ❤️🖤💚 Never have I been apart of something so special and amazing. We go through life having supernatural experiences and moments, but what makes them so is the people you share them with. I am so honored and humbled to have been apart of the first annual Afrofuturism L.E.G.A.C.Y Fundraising Social! It took months of planning, meeting, connecting and networking to pull it off. In the end, the community showed up and showed OUT! And we looked dam good doing it too 🎯

To have real Pillars of the community come through and support the mission was unforgettable. It was an official stamp on us as an organization, and validation that we are moving with true purpose. The best part for me was watching my son move people to tears (me 🥹) with his speech. Thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, hosts, attendees, those who support from afar, and all my Brothers of The Growth Spot!!! I love you all!! What we are doing is special. How we put on for the city is second to none. And where we are going… you want to be a part of it, because it is a true Family Affair!! UHURU SASA 💪🏾💪🏾✊🏾✊🏾
