Spartan Ultra Pippingford ☑️

🥇 VI British Ultra Champion
🥇 Spartan AG 50-54

I’ve heard a lot of ‘I only won because no one else was in my category’

‘I only got a medal because no one else in my AG was racing’

These words from other people not about me… just to add… although yes, I was the only visually impaired racer, I was the only 50-54 year old woman doing the Ultra (including none competitive people)

And that’s the thing everyone needs to remember! You are out there doing extraordinary things, things that are fucking hard, things that other people are not wanting to attempt.

So IF you are the only one, who is brave enough, strong enough, stupid enough to do what you do… embrace it! Take that medal, be proud of that trophy… because you’ve bloody well earnt it! #
