Dear Bookstas and Booktokers,
Following on from my announcement last week, here's a call for beta readers :)
For romance readers who like a WLW Romance packed with distant flirtation (iykyk), flirtation, gay panic, almosts, yearning, questionable decisions, lust, love, surrender: set against a CIA spy operation background. It comes with all the tenderness, patience and safe spaces you'd expect in a lesbian romance.
Tropes: Lesbian/WLW Romance (Femme x Femme), Age Gap (6 yrs), Morally Grey FMCs, Complicated Love Triangle, Stalking, Forbidden Love, Open Door Spice, Slow Burn, Believer x Atheist, Mutual Pining, Second Chances, Forced Proximity, "Just Sex" Arrangement, Found Family, Secret Identity, Secret Relationships, Love vs. Duty, Lovers to Enemies to Lovers, HEA Guaranteed
Short Blurb:
Set against the high-energy, high-stakes and dangerous backdrop of clandestine operations, this romance follows Jane and Mabel as they fight to protect their country, and their hearts. Love takes root where deception is second nature. Passion survives fire and darkness. Their lives forever changed, the women arrive at their happily-ever-after carrying each other.
There's a long list of trigger warnings, and I can supply them to you before you commit :) There's a reason (aka c3ns0ring) I'm not listing it here lol!
What you'll get when you beta read for me :) Free eBook and/or physical copy of ARC or Released Book (you choose), licensed stock images for use in social media (only if you credit me and Adobe Stock, to protect licensing requirements), group chat with me and other beta readers (if you wish to join), previews of covers/news/reveals and my utmost gratitude for your feedback that helps me improve my work.
Please DM me if you're interested!
Jane & Mabel releases March 20, 2027.
As always, thank you Bookstagram and Booktok for giving me and my books a space in this wonderful corner of the internet.
xoxo, @avamilns

Hi Ava, I'm a beta reader and editor, and Jane & Mabel sounds like a great read. I'd love to take it on with inline comments, a full feedback report, and total confidentiality. I'm available now. Could you share the word count and your deadline?
