The month my father was born, preparations for the Apollo 11 launch were underway, and for my grandfather these two events were inextricable. He collected all the newspapers he could get his hands on that were chronologzing it. Every day I learn from the ways my grandpa tried to record the lives of the people he loved

EXCLUSIVE: A Honduran illegal immigrant allegedly raped a Minnesota woman just TWO DAYS after his deportation order became final, months after a Clinton-appointed federal judge ordered his release from ICE custody. According to federal immigration officials, 42-year-old Marcotulio Melendez Diaz was working as a handyman when he allegedly overpowered and repeatedly raped the woman on Oct. 11. Authorities say the alleged assault was captured on an indoor surveillance camera.
