“É bom olhar pra trás
E admirar a vida que soubemos fazer
É bom olhar pra frente, é bom, nunca é igual
É bom e é tão diferente…”

Sim, Nando Reis! É bom olhar para trás e
admirar a vida que soubemos fazer!
Foi bom retornar à Uberlândia depois
cinco anos, e celebrar (re)encontros,
celebrar as (re)conexões.

Foi bom admirar o que construímos até aqui.
Foi bom recomeçar, reescrever, reconectar,
e poder olhar lá pra frente.
Foi bom e foi diferente.

Valeu, Turma. Até breve! 🫶🏻

brb while i cry forever 🥹 i know how blessed i am to have a relationship like this with my dad. and also to have a dad who is the most killer and inspiring businessman i’ve ever met, making sure my business thrives on the backend and helping me make all of my investments, financial decisions and beyond. he walked in the door this morning telling me my projected revenue for the year and he was so proud 😭 we share a bond over the “soul of money” and it’s one of the most special things in my life to be able to learn from him. also, my dad and i are both reflectors (in human design) if you can believe it so we are quite literally mirrors 🪞 to one another. grateful forever for this ♡ tag a dad who needs to see this !! & follow along @thebalancedblonde for more on family, the soul of money, & overhauling your money mindset 💰💘💅🏼
imagine a world where you felt safe in every space... what would you do? 💭
for me, the answer is simple... I’d go for a run.
I’d go for a run in the dark after putting my daughter to bed, without having to think twice about my safety.
I’d run wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted, I’d turn my music up, explore new routes, enjoy the sunset and never think twice about who might be walking behind me.
but the reality is, every time I go for a run alone, a million thoughts and ‘what ifs’ run through my mind… things my husband has never had to think twice about
and the sad thing is… these are calculations so many women make every single day, often without even realising we’re doing it
on Sunday 25th October, the clocks go back. the days get darker, the nights get longer, and for so many women, the freedom to move through public spaces feels even more restricted.
and whilst we’re constantly told how to keep ourselves safe, why should the responsibility fall on us in the first place?
over 70% of women in the UK say they’ve experienced sexual harassment in public spaces.
that’s why I’m supporting UN Women UK’s Right to Move campaign, because creating safer public spaces is a responsibility we ALL share, regardless of gender.
the message is simple:
STOP and offer your help if it’s safe to do so SUPPORT the person to a place where they feel safe REPORT the incident if they want you to
because women shouldn’t have to change how they dress, where they go or when they leave the house just to feel safe. and the freedom to go for a run without fear shouldn’t be something we have to imagine. what would YOU do if you felt safe in every space?
