Scott Werntz

I am truly a blessed man in that God has allowed me many decades of working with students who love the Lord with such a passion. This eighth grader and I meet every Wednesday for lunch and a time of studying God’s word. This is my good friend Kaige. He came from football practice straight to the party to give me a big hug and to thank me for being a part of his life.
Tonight my school threw a going away party for my transition back to Illinois from Texas and I had the opportunity to see so many from the past 20 years who came back to say goodbye. It was such a beautiful night of reminiscing and being so blown away by all the great things that my past and present students are doing in the name of Christ throughout the country and even in other parts of the world.
