Y’all know I’m happiest in the kitchen.

There’s something about taking a bunch of ingredients, putting my hands on it, tasting as I go, and watching it slowly become something that carries a piece of where I come from.

Lately, I’ve been back in my kitchen cooking, testing, tweaking, and bringing these Congolese flavors to life in a way that feels like me.

And honestly… this is the part of Deeply Rooted that means the most to me..

It’s me finally giving Congo the space on my table that I’ve been wanting to give it for a long time.

We’re getting close. 🤎🇨🇩
