Selma Blair’s history of biting people is getting renewed attention following her recent arrest. The actress was arrested on October 11 following an alleged altercation aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York, during which she was accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another. Blair was subsequently charged with two counts of second degree assault stemming from separate allegations involving a police officer and a nurse. She has pleaded not guilty. Interestingly, Blair previously opened up about biting several celebrities in her 2022 memoir, “Mean Baby: A Memoir of Growing Up,” including Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane and Kate Moss. In the book, Blair recalled biting Miller’s arm during an encounter at the Chateau Marmont in 2006, biting MacFarlane’s hand after meeting him at a Las Vegas nightclub and biting Moss, who reportedly bit her back. Blair has previously described feeling overwhelmed in social situations, which she connected to some of those past incidents. Her representatives have attributed the recent airline incident to a medical emergency. Her attorneys have also said she was experiencing confusion and disorientation after missing medication.
