When “I create my own reality and therefore I am responsible for everything I experience” is installed as a universal rule, it functions as spiritual bypassing. Because the rule itself can jump over proper causal analysis. Instead of asking what actually produced an experience; your choices, another person’s choices, economics, power, biology, chance, institutional structures, prior conditions - the doctrine has already supplied the answer…you did.

This creates not only a collapse in the sustem - but a collapse into a really strange inversion. Where a philosophy (yes, it really is just that) that was intended to maximise agency, actually distorts it.

We do profoundly influence the reality we experience. And we are in higher accord with what we experience. But accord is not causation.

Many of us, need to locate the actual GROUND, before exploring abstraction. It can fracture a system for years to loop in oroborous recursions such as these.

Sometimes it is just as simple as; the load is too high for the system to bear. The resources arent actually sufficient right now. Someone else doesn’t want to participate. The required capacity has not been built yet. Sometimes… something happened you did not cause.

Then and only then, does the meaningful question begin to revolve around what agency can exist from here.

Everything we experience becomes part of the reality we must now navigate, but not everything we experience originates in us.

That is all 💘 #structuralmechanics #patternrecognition #recursion #patterncollapse

In hermeticism it is said with each law there is a higher law governing it and that law has an even higher law governing that law and that infinitely. So the question of us creating our reality is not about agency but rather of our level of authority in spirit, that expands or contracts proportionally to the awareness of the laws we navigate life with. In other words your point of view is right but it has a limitation too which makes you not see beyond what it allows you to. Life is the biggest initiation towards universal responsibility and we’re all remembering on different levels 💚

Yes, we create our reality and we are all one, so we don’t individually cause our reality, we as one collectively cause our reality. So paradoxically we create our reality and we collectively cause our realities.

We are responsible for ourselves and our own choices, this is the why i don't believe "everything happens for a reason", people connected to you also make choices, this can also affect you, and sometimes in life shit just happens! Thanks for being real!

Texts coming in from my mother while listening to this. 🙏😮‍💨 precarious, perfect timing, helpful. Thank you for the gracious reflection on this dynamic.

I know that this message is well meaning to help alleviate the weight of responsibility of one's existence. At a certain level of consciousness, yes I understand that this is the best way you can make sense of misfortune and undesirable experiences in ones life. But ultimately this is not helpful advice. It perpetuates the illusion of separation between and others and keeps people stuck in victimhood. I know it feels validating to keep saying "they did this to me", "I had no control" and when you don't have true clarify into your own consciousness it's the best you can do to make sense of life. But life isn't happening to you and there are no "others". You have far more power and control than you are able or willing to see. Victim mentality can temporarily feel self soothing but awareness and empowerment are far greater.

oooft. a lot of resonance here. noticing the way i have taken on a form of 'radical responsibility' for 'creating everything' that keeps me in emotional loops and disempowerment.

This big time! Creation is push/pull we are not responsible for everything that happens to us we are just responsible for ourselves and our actions. I was stuck in thinking I was manifesting everything for sometime but now can see how I am creating and also being created if that makes sense.
