I almost didn’t post this cause it’s just…so heavy and so much nuance to this topic. I want Jesus to come back. I really do. But I think about the people who still don’t know Him, and man… that’s where I feel torn. Yes, it’s biblical to say He’s coming soon. But 2 Peter 3:9 also says God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. So when I keep hearing “we don’t have much time”… I’m like, okay, then what are we doing with the time we have? And I’m asking myself that too. There are Deaf kids who haven’t even been taught a language. They have questions and feelings, but haven’t been given the words or signs to express them. Who’s going to explain to them that Jesus loves them? I want to be with Jesus. I want them to know Him too. Both of those things are on my heart. That’s why I care so much about this.
