Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase have become one of the most beloved duos in the Percy Jackson universe. Walker Scobell and Leah Sava Jeffries bring their friendship and chemistry to life in the Disney+ series, growing from teammates at Camp Half-Blood into the iconic Percabeth duo fans know and love.

Leah’s casting as Annabeth was also met with racist backlash when it was announced in 2022. Rick Riordan strongly condemned the harassment, and Alexandra Daddario, who previously played Annabeth in the films, publicly supported Leah, writing that she was going to be “an incredible Annabeth.”

Since then, Leah has made the role her own, while Walker and Leah have continued to develop the friendship and dynamic at the heart of Percy and Annabeth’s story.
