From being bullied at school to reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent and helping thousands of children grow in confidence.
Nearly 30 years of martial arts training and next year, 20 years of Excel Martial Arts.
Getting back on the mats today reminded me what martial arts has given me: strength, calm confidence, discipline and resilience.
I know what it feels like to live in fear, to struggle to speak up and to scared to protect yourself.
It’s one of the biggest reasons Excel exists today.
Because a child who is struggling now can become confident, resilient and empowered
and grow into a leader who lifts others.
Next month, for Anti-Bullying Month, we’ll be helping even more children build the confidence to stand strong, speak up and believe in themselves. 🥋❤️
