Preparing for facial surgery starts well before your surgery date.

If you’re taking a GLP-1 medication, I want us to have that conversation early. Nutrition and hydration matter for healing, and your medication plan needs to be part of your surgical preparation.

We’ll discuss whether a pause before and after surgery is appropriate for you and coordinate with your prescribing clinician. Please don’t stop or change your medication on your own.

Considering facial surgery? Call or DM my office so we can discuss your next steps.

I know their effects on GI motility but what are some of the main things you worry about with these meds that should o be addressed ahead of time?
