ACT III — THE LIGHT ✨🌞
This photoshoot was inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky’s @alejandro.jodorowsky - El Topo, unfolding through three acts.
The mole lives beneath the earth, digging through darkness in search of the light. But when it finally reaches the surface, the light blinds it.
The true journey is not from darkness into light.
It is from blindness into awareness.
In this third and final act, gold represents a light that has been conquered — transformation, awakening, and the decision to finally see.
The face painting is inspired by Selk’nam visual traditions. As a Chilean artist, I wanted to bring elements connected to the cultures and histories of the territory I come from into my own artistic language — approached as inspiration and remembrance, rather than as a reproduction of ceremonial meaning.

ACTO III — LA LUZ
Este photoshoot fue inspirado en El Topo de Alejandro Jodorowsky y construido a través de tres actos.
El topo vive bajo tierra, cavando en la oscuridad en busca de la luz. Pero cuando finalmente alcanza la superficie, la luz lo ciega.
El verdadero viaje no es de la oscuridad hacia la luz.
Es de la ceguera hacia la conciencia.
En este tercer y último acto, el dorado representa una luz conquistada: transformación, despertar y la decisión de finalmente ver.
El maquillaje está inspirado en las tradiciones visuales Selk'nam. Como artista chilena, quise incorporar a mi propio lenguaje artístico elementos vinculados a las culturas e historias del territorio del que provengo, desde la inspiración y la memoria, y no como una reproducción de su significado ceremonial.
