Parshati Patel, Ph.D.

Wishing @astro_kutryk and Crew-13, Godspeed, as they launch to space today! Six months on @iss where Josh will be conducting tons of experiments and hundreds of people supporting on the ground - missions take more one person and I am grateful to be alive in the year where we have not one but two @canadianspaceagency astronauts would have gone to space 🚀

I had an opportunity to very briefly meet and work with Josh when I was deployed to the CSA! He launched the project that I led and I got to co-present with him (I am normally not nervous about presenting but this was nerve wrecking 🥲).

Looking forward to all the amazing science Josh gets to do on ISS and those amazing views of Mother Earth from his perspective on ISS 🌎

(And yes, I am way shorter than him 🌝 if I had not cropped my colleagues in this photo, you would see I look VERY short 😅 they are all just really tall people).
