I still remember @eric_taft hitting me up to hang out and jam. I showed him this song I had wrote but it didn't have a bridge and it was missing something. At that time @thegreatheightsband had released a song called above the water and it hit me through the absolute feels. An absolute banger. It was just what I needed. 🫶 I asked Eric to jump on this one with me and to incorporate that "Above the water" vibe. He nailed it.

I quickly wrote a bridge in studio and next thing I know we had this demo. It was called No Rain No Flowers and I had written 4 different versions prior. 🤯

I was in a super dark place after some injuries in motocross. I had a scare and thought I was going to lose my left hand. I battled really hard to get back to doing what I loved, what I poured my heart into for so many years. I was broken physically, mentally and emotionally but I knew if I could just keep searching for that light no matter how dark, I could find myself again. I'm proud that I stuck it out.

I never thought an independent small town artist would be able to hang his hat on something like this and help others, to pick myself and others up off the concrete. Thats what it's all about. Love this community 🖤✌️
