Sunflower Z's Healing Garden

🌻✨ What's makes me happy? Facilitating educational experiences that feel like more than a workshop and more like sacred community care.

As I transformed Sunflower Z’s Healing Garden for our first Community Care Suicide Prevention Workshop, I was reminded that healing doesn’t only happen in therapy rooms it happens in community, in safe spaces, and in moments when people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Cleaning and transforming Sunflower Z's Healing Garden was healing for me. Cleansing out the old and welcoming the new beginnings.

My prayer was that everyone who walked through these doors would feel warmth, safety, and permission to be vulnerable. A space where we could have honest conversations about the things we’re often afraid to say out loud.

And that’s exactly what happened. 💛

The community showed up with open hearts, asked questions, shared, learned, and gained tools to better support someone experiencing suicidal thoughts.

This is one of the visions God placed on my heart for Sunflower Z's Healing Garden: a place where education meets compassion, vulnerability is welcomed, and healing happens in community. 🌻
