Independent cafés and restaurants are closing all over New Zealand. So when I find a little gem doing seriously good food, I want to shout about it.
Providence Pantry in Paeroa is one of those places. The chicken and mushroom pie was an easy 10/10 and absolutely worth the drive.

I lived in Paeroa for 7 years and iv never been into there, definitely will go in now 😂

Tip: try the small cafe tucked in the front of the huge stadium in whangarei. Up the stairs in a very utility building.....Great home cooked food. Big surprise 😮😍
