🏆 @pkbgirlstour Team Cup Champs 🏆 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
1st team event… & WOW. What a way to kick it off! The opportunity to play 90 holes of tournament golf in three days, from 6,164 yards, against a field this strong was an invaluable experience.
Madz represented Team Southeast alongside some seriously talented golfers—& even better people. This is an experience she’ll be talking about for a long time!
DAY 1 | STROKE PLAY
36 holes. 74-76 (+6) from 6,164 yards, helping Team SE earn the #2 seed heading into match play.
DAY 2 | MATCH PLAY
Madz won her first match 5 & 3, helping keep the team in the Championship Bracket. In Round 2, she battled through 15 holes before Mother Nature decided to join the competition. ⛈️
DAY 3 | CHAMPIONSHIP MONDAY
Play restarted at 7:30 AM, and Madz got right back to work, winning her match 2 & 1.
Then came the Championship Match. She fought all the way to 18, ultimately she lost by just one.
But what happened next is something she’ll never forget. 🥹
While Madz was finishing up on 18, her incredible teammates were out there battling too. One by one, they won their matches—and then they came running to greet her on 18 with the news that Team Southeast had WON 4-1! 🏆❤️
That moment. THAT is what team golf is all about. Building relationships and playing for more than yourself ⛳️💪🏼📈
We truly cannot say enough about this event. It was incredibly well run from start to finish, even with the rain delays and crack-of-dawn restart.
Madz learned a ton, competed her heart out, made some amazing memories, friends, and came away with a whole new appreciation for team golf.
The win was just the icing on the cake. 🏆
Now… 90 holes in 3 days = time to REST! 💤✌🏻
So proud of this girl and grateful for every part of this experience. ⛳️❤️
