Jean Claude Wouters is a multidisciplinary artist born in Belgium. As a child he expressed himself through drawing, later expanding his practice into painting, dance, experimental film, performance, documentary and commissioned works, and eventually moving fluidly into photography and painting.
He practiced these mediums while exploring diverse territories, from West to East, and from East to West. He consistently embraced the role of an outsider, finding it the position that suited him best.
