Ausma Zehanat Khan

Thrilled to have a story in this wonderful new anthology put together with so much skill and compassion by @nafizaaz and @booksbyintisar!

These interlocking tales of #refugees seeking a place of safety in a world filled with magic and mystery are very close to my heart!

My story, "The Paradise that Never Was" focuses on escapees from Syria's notorious Sednaya prison, the obstacles they encounter on their journey and the friends they make along the way.

As always, wishing peace and justice to the people of #Syria, #Palestine, #Sudan, #Yemen and all those who have had to leave their homes and homelands behind.
