Belief looks like a transformed life.

Belief looks like repentance from one life into another.

What you believe is core to how you live.

If you don’t believe in your creator, you won’t live in what you were created for.

The Gospel is very simple. Too simple for the mind that wants to work its way to God.

How can 700+ people be saved this summer you ask?

Because we didn’t invite them into a salvation that needed a bunch of gimmicks to be saved.

The invitation is and always has been and always will be - Only Believe.

Be born again.

Bring all your friends who are lost & far from God.

Let’s set this city on fire with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Can a city be saved in a day? I was. Why can’t you?

Camus’ The Myth of Sisyphus is one of the best-known images in all philosophy. It’s almost a philosophical meme, but it’s also one of the most misunderstood and misrepresented. Sisyphus was a king who cheated death, and so the gods made him push a boulder up a hill forever. Every time he got to the top of the hill, the boulder rolled all the way back down. And so Sisyphus has become representative of every pointless task you’ve ever had to do. Washing the dishes? Sisyphus. Running the rat race over and over again? Sisyphus. Having to get out of bed every day to a world that doesn’t care about you? Sisyphus. But Camus emphasises a different part of the story. As he put it, ‘It is during that return, that pause, that Sisyphus interests me.’ The Myth of Sisyphus is not simply about the drudgery of getting by in the world without meaning. It’s about the strength of will it takes to carry on every day. It’s about returning to do the dishes. It’s about getting back into the rat race. It’s about carrying on. I often imagine Sisyphus at the top of his hill, sighing, pausing, and turning around to walk back down to collect his boulder, and he knows exactly what is waiting for him at the bottom. And as Camus says, this is the ‘hour of consciousness,’ and in that walk, Sisyphus is ‘stronger than his rock.’ There is something heroic simply in turning up every day when you know fully well what is waiting for you. There is something beautiful about coming back day after day when you know the world is determined to drill the life out of you. There is something great about all of us when we walk down that hill to collect our boulders.
🦷🚨 Not all kids’ toothpastes are created equal! Some popular ones scored surprisingly low… and choosing toothpaste based on cute packaging or a “natural” label isn’t enough! 👀 🪥 When should you start? From the eruption of your baby’s FIRST tooth — not when they learn to spit! ✅ What should you look for? • Fluoride for cavity protection • Around 1,000 ppm fluoride as a general evidence-based starting point • An age-appropriate, soft-bristled toothbrush • A formulation suitable for your child’s age 👶 How much fluoride toothpaste? • Under 3 years: a tiny smear, the size of a grain of rice • 3–6 years: a pea-sized amount • 6+ years: continue age-appropriate fluoride toothpaste; supervise brushing and follow the product directions 🚫 What should you avoid? • Choosing fluoride-free toothpaste as your default for cavity prevention • Excessive amounts of toothpaste • Swallowing toothpaste or leaving it within a child’s reach • Assuming “natural,” herbal or whitening claims automatically mean better cavity protection 💡 Remember: Children who can’t spit reliably can still use fluoride toothpaste in the recommended tiny amount, with adult supervision. 📌 SAVE this before buying your child’s next toothpaste! ❤️ [ kids toothpaste, best toothpaste for kids, fluoride toothpaste for babies, baby first tooth care, toddler dental care, fluoride ppm, cavity prevention in children, kids oral hygiene, parenting tips ] #kidshealth #babycare #parentingtips #dentalhealth #momsofinstagram
