BMW E36 M3 GT 😈
Designed to satisfy FIA GT homologation rules, the BMW M3 GT E36 was exclusively finished in the iconic British Racing Green over a striking Mexico Green and Black Nappa leather cabin with carbon fiber interior trim.
Under the hood, the 3.0-liter S50 inline-six was upgraded with re-profiled camshafts, re-mapped Bosch Motronic M3.3 engine management, an upgraded VANOS system, and a Motorsport dual-pickup oil pan to prevent oil starvation during high-G cornering, pushing output to 295 hp and 323 Nm of torque.
While retaining the standard M3’s 5-speed ZF manual transmission and limited-slip differential, BMW Motorsport sharpened acceleration by fitting a shorter 3.23:1 final drive ratio and a factory Motorsport strut tower brace.
Aerodynamics were improved via a drag-reducing exterior package: an adjustable front splitter, streamlined wing mirrors, and a dual-tier rear spoiler equipped with adjustable Gurney flaps. Lightweight aluminum doors shaved off 20 kg, while staggered 17-inch forged M Double Spoke wheels completed the chassis enhancements.
With only 356 units built between February and July 1995, it remains one of the ultimate E36 grails ever produced.
