My grandmothers Consuelo and Francisca made their own cheese through the years, my grama Chelo was resourceful if she had extra milk she was not going to let go bad she was making something with it. My grandmother Francisca used her milk from her cows to make cheese, she kept behind a screened off little cabinet. Now that I am older I realize now how much these 2 Matriarchs of our family shaped my life, woman who were strong life was not easy for either of them.Still they made the best with what they had, left me an example that will stay with me for a lifetime.
