Classic buttemilk glazed donuts and
Wine plum compote with mascarpone cream filling donuts ❤️✨️

Today has been very hot, and I mean crazy hot day! My kitchen was so so hot that the fermentation process was cut short. As soon as I was cutting my dough notice that i was running against the clock, so I tried to work as fast as I could and set my oil to start frying. I barely made it before they were overproofed 😱
But alas, I managed to have delicious fluffy donuts!

The plum compote was the star of today, it was sweet, plum-y, lightly tangy and with the most beautiful deep red color hue. I knew a mascarpone whip will be the best to pair with the compote and it elevated the donuts in a very wonderful way. So good that my batch of filled donuts got snatched away and I regret not making a few more, but, oh well! At least i know that these were a hit and I will make again ❤️✨️
Also, no matter how hot it can be outside, i prefer my coffee hot most of the time. Am i the only one??
