Before we take our patrons on a trip, we take the time to experience the route ourselves. Because underestimating a trail is a failsafe way to get lost

This recce day helped us understand the trail better, spot the little things that could make the experience smoother, and figure out what we can do better next time.

The verdict? Start earlier. Pack breakfast. And go with folks who know how to find their way around trails!

And keep doing the things we know work: right clothes + sunscreen to protect from sun, 2 bottles of water per person, slow and steady climb with plenty of fluids and shade breaks!

Because the best adventures aren’t just about reaching the destination — they’re about everything that goes into making the journey memorable.
