A friend and fellow gemologist Lara sourced this stunning 4.26ct natural blue sapphire for her client and sent it my way to make into an engagement ring. I gave it an 18k buttery yellow gold shank and a bright and durable platinum setting, with black rhodium across the face to deepen that incredible blue.
A little old-world, a little moody, and made to be loved for a very, very long time. π π β¨
