Your next chapter doesn’t have to be a breakdown. It can be your breakthrough. Nobody talks about the moment a woman in her 40s starts questioning EVERYTHING. Your body. Your energy. Your relationship. Your confidence. Your patience. Your purpose. The life you worked so hard to build suddenly feels different. And the woman looking back at you in the mirror? She might not feel quite like herself anymore. Before you call it a midlife crisis, let’s talk about what might actually be happening. Because this isn’t always just about mindset. Your biology matters, too. Hormonal fluctuations Sleep and recovery Stress and cortisol regulation Insulin sensitivity and metabolic health Thyroid function Estrogen and progesterone Muscle mass and body composition Testosterone and changes in energy and libido Sound familiar? Here’s your reminder: You are not broken. You are not behind. And you do not have to settle for feeling unlike yourself. Your body is changing. Your needs may be changing. And your approach to health, fitness, nutrition, and recovery may need to change with it. This is where we stop guessing, start asking better questions, and get intentional about our health.

I finally got to join my family on a Saturday morning bike ride 🚲☕️ & now I’m looking forward to all the weekends ahead where we get to do this together. 🤍 Since becoming a mom, I’ve become a little nervous on bikes, while the rest of my family LOVES them. So getting my own e-bike felt like my chance to finally join the crew. My new @Aventon Pace 5 has made me feel so comfortable & confident riding. The low step-through makes it easy to get on & off, and the pedal assist + Boost Mode is a GAME CHANGER on our neighborhood hills. 🙌🏼 And another feature I love — I can lock my Pace straight from the Aventon app when we stop for coffee or wherever our ride takes us. So steal this family outing idea: pick somewhere you’d normally drive — coffee, breakfast, the park, a treat — grab the bikes & make getting there part of the adventure. 🚲 P.S. you can use code IN60-TENLEY at @Aventon. #Aventon #pace5
Marriage Is Not the Core of My Existence; I’m Doing Pretty Good— Actress Bisola Aiyeola Nollywood actress Bisola Aiyeola has shared her views on marriage, saying that although she considers it essential to society, getting married is not a priority in her life. Speaking on the In My Opinion podcast, where actor Uzor Arukwe also discussed his views on marriage, Bisola highlighted the responsibilities women often shoulder in relationships, questioning why some women should remain married when they still have to handle most of the work themselves. “Women are like, you know what? What’s the point if I still have to do everything myself? Why do I have to be tied to this man all in the name of marriage?” she said. The actress noted that some women are breadwinners while also bearing children and taking responsibility for childcare and household duties, leaving their partners expecting to be served. She, however, described marriage as an important institution and said she would be open to it if the opportunity arose. “Marriage is an institution, is essential for the society. For me, if marriage does come, I will get married, but it is not the core of my existence. I mean, I’m doing pretty good,” she stated. Bisola, who is a mother to a 17-year-old daughter, also spoke about the challenges of raising a child as a single parent, explaining that she reminds her daughter that single parenthood should not be something to aspire to. “Being a single parent and looking after my daughter, I still let her know that being a single parent is not that easy. That’s not what you should aspire to be. Bearing the whole load of raising a child shouldn’t be for one person alone,” she said. Reflecting on turning 40 in January, the actress expressed happiness with her life and personal growth. “I turned 40 in January. Yeah. I love me so much, and this is the best times of my life,” she added.
