On this day four years ago, we lost Robbie Coltrane, the beloved actor who brought Hagrid to life 🕊️❤️

For millions who grew up with Harry Potter, Hagrid made Hogwarts feel like home. Robbie gave the gentle giant his warmth, loyalty, and enormous heart, reminding us that being different never made anyone less deserving of love.

Reflecting on the films’ lasting impact during the 2022 reunion, Robbie shared these words: “I’ll not be here, sadly. But Hagrid will.”

With Nick Frost stepping into the role for HBO’s new Harry Potter series, Hagrid will welcome another generation into the wizarding world. And for those who grew up with Robbie, his place in that world will always be his.

Rest in peace, Robbie. Thank you for making our childhoods a little more magical 🪄

Some victories cost more than they’re worth 🤍

Proving a point can feel satisfying for a minute, but it often leaves a relationship, or your peace, a little worse off. Knowing you’re right doesn’t mean you have to say it louder or have the last word.

Choosing calm over winning takes real strength.

Today is National Coming Out Day 🏳️‍🌈❤️

When Cam and Mitch got married on ‘Modern Family’ in May 2014, their wedding brought a celebration of gay love into millions of homes. It aired more than a year before marriage equality became the law nationwide, at a time when many Americans still couldn’t legally marry the person they loved.

Their wedding wasn’t television’s first same-sex wedding, but it became a powerful moment for representation. The impact reached beyond the screen. Eric Stonestreet later shared that young viewers told him Cam and Mitch helped them come out to their parents, while parents said the characters helped them accept their own children.

Since 1988, National Coming Out Day has celebrated LGBTQ+ visibility and the freedom to be yourself. Whether you’ve shared your story or are still finding the words, you deserve love and acceptance at your own pace. ❤️

What TV character or moment made you feel seen? 💭

Sometimes the lowest point becomes the beginning of a completely different life.

Danny Ellerd was once down to 92 pounds, struggling with addiction and living under a bridge. Five years later, he had rebuilt his life, overcome addiction, and became a powerful example of how dramatically life can change when recovery gets a chance.

Your current chapter does not have to be your final one.

The things we take for granted often become the things we miss most when they are gone.

A familiar voice, someone waiting for you, a tiring job, or an ordinary day can feel insignificant while you have them. Life has a way of revealing their value later.

Appreciate the ordinary before it becomes a memory.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canada 🇨🇦🦃

Why October instead of November? Canada’s earlier harvest season helped shape its Thanksgiving tradition, with the second Monday in October officially set as the date in 1957.

A little reminder to slow down, appreciate what you have, and tell your people you love them.

What are you thankful for today? 💭

4 streamers. 1 winner. $25000 on the line. Things got competitive FAST. 😭

Welcome to #SourJacksShowdown, hosted by @jasontheween See you next week.👀

RJ Mitte underwent a grueling six-month audition process for the role of Walter White Jr. in Breaking Bad, consisting of four tryouts in Los Angeles and a final screen test in New Mexico.

He read scenes from the pilot episode across five total auditions and was among the very last main cast members chosen. During one memorable audition, the casting director handed Mitte her own crutches to help him physically anchor the performance.

This was a unique challenge for Mitte because he actively avoided relying on mobility aids in real life despite having mild cerebral palsy. After a final screen test in Albuquerque against one other actor, series creator Vince Gilligan called Mitte to cast him. He immediately flew back out to the set because filming for the show had already started.
