9 kids 17 years married 16 years as a firefighter wife.
Yes, I’ve learned how to get to church alone how to manage things solo and I can do it pretty well…

But just because I can do all of those things solo doesn’t mean that I don’t miss him. I wish he was with us every Sunday.

I used to get really upset about this but over the years and especially recently I’ve allow my perspective to change or I guess God has changed my heart and my perspective. Being married to a firefighter is such an honor. His job has forced me to grow and sanctify me many ways.

always so thankful for the Sundays he’s with me🤎 especially the ones like today where we got to ride to church together as a family.

Yes!! I'm a fire wife as well. My husband also is one of the music ministers at our church. So church can be kind of crazy a lot of times. Definitely don't take for granted when he's off shift AND off leading worship.

Yes! This is the first year since my husband and I have been together that we’ve been able to go to church two weeks in a row. He was (is) a truck driver so he usually left early Sunday mornings when he came home and was gone multiple weeks in a row. Now that he gets to attend with us, I count it allllll joy! Thank you Lord!
