September is Alopecia Awareness Month! Alopecia is an autoimmune disease where your body attacks your hair. There are three types. I have Alopecia Universalis which means I don’t have hair anywhere. A few things to know: 1. It’s not contagious 2. It doesn’t hurt 3. Yes, I’m a girl 4. It’s ok to ask me questions. I’d rather you do that than stare.
